need some help with 2003 GMC yukon

OK here is the deal, we have a yukon XL with the push button 4wd, I pushed the 4wd button this afternoon to pull the boat out of the boat ramp, probably not needed but I figure its easier on the trucks components.. The problem now is that we cannot get it to go back into 2wd, it will go into auto 4wd and when we turn the front doesn't do the 4wd hurky jerkey, anything we should be looking at to eliminate the problem??

Sorry wast sure where to post, please move if in the incorrect position...

That body style was bad about the push button contacts sticking or going out. Try pull battery cable off for a few then see if it will go into 2wd. If it still won't check the switch and you make have to jump it out.
