SO ANGRY!!!

So Im leaving my parents house this afternoon in my F150 and a couple miles down the road I get a huge whiff of gas. it gets worse and and i notice in the headlights behind me that gas is pouring out from underneath. pull over into a shopping center and investigate... and find the lines coming out of the top of tank had been chewed through. ( saw squirels all over the truck earlier in the day) god help those rodents next time i get over there!!!!

That sucks, but at least it was a ford! I hope it's an easy fix for you.

Rodent damage is remarkably common. Talk to any dealership serviceman, and he'll tell you that they see them all the time, even on brand- spankin' new cars. The rodents get in there, chew up wires, hoses, plastic, insulation, and can cause many thousands of $$$ damage in a very short amount of time. ................................................. My Silverado spends a lot of time parked in a forested area: I keep plenty of delicious rodent killing poison cakes nestled away in the nooks and crannies in my engine bay. Hopefully, they'll snack on that before going for the high dollar entrees. So far, it seems to have worked, as ever since I placed those there, I've had no FURTHER damage to my rig.

Those hairy-tailed rats will tear up ANYTHING! I am at constant battle with them. I have Oak and Pecan trees in my yard, which they love. I kill as many as I can with a pellet gun, but they just keep coming.
