Your opinion please

I can always depend on the camaro family for good advise.

Ok, ok, I know I bought a Mustang GT, but I thought I got good deal on it until someone told me I was priced too high. You tell me what you think.

2004 Mustang GT.

The good:
Mustang GT
Leather
Mach stereo
Side skirts and rear body kit
Engine sound quiet
Clean VIN number
Only two owners before me
No accidents

The bad:
143K miles
Front right strut needs replacing
Slight dent on passenger door, door ding on passenger rear wheel well, and scrapes on rear bumper.
Tear in drivers seat
Stereo volume knob acts funny
Emergency brake light turns off and on.

Price paid: $3700

I always tell people, "You never got yourself a bad deal unless someone else has convinced you."

But anyway, the miles are high but a quick search showed me you paid below blue book. If you can do the repairs yourself, even better.

Just make sure the maintenance is up to date and enjoy it!

Allot of it hinges on how those 143K miles were put on it. The rest is cosmetic. As long as you're happy with the price and it meets your needs/expectations, you got a deal. Enjoy it!

well when I traded in my 01 GT back in 09 I got 14,000. It had 30K miles on it and a little SC. Had cloth interior, aftermarket wheels and full exhaust. So I would say you did all right. Oh, and it had been in a wreck at one point in its life. I tell you one thing, you have a Great start to a really fast project.

Thanks man. I bet you had fun in that car. One day I might get a SC car.

Look at the wiring for the brake lights, its probably a loose connection.
Take the head unit off and see whats up with the volume knob.
Get some tape for the tear, or stitch it...or get a seat cover.

It does have a lot of miles, but its only 3700?

I'd do it, if thats what you are interested in.

Parked in your driveway...it will depreciate the price of your house by thousands.
