Very Cool Website - type in VIN get all info on your car

There is a website called www.compnine.com

If you enter the VIN number of a car into the box, it will COMPLETELY break down the vin and list all the options your car has.

The output that I got was an extremely long list, which appears to be exactly what would be listed on the window sticker when you first bought your car.

Normally this would cost a fee, but they allow you to enter 2 or 3 VINS per day.

I did this for two of my cars then copied the output.

I had NO IDEA what kind of engine I had, or the rear axle ratios but I do now.

Well perhaps that website only has older cars. I put in two different 2008 model Chevy trucks and it worked.

We have over 240 Million VINs in our database, going back to 1980 and up to early 2010.
It had my 98Z28 but not my 2010 SS August 09 car.
