Traded in the camaro tonight

I feel like I just abandoned my car and put it up for adoption lol sick feeling but i was running into problems with it. Been in the shop about 4 times and had to be towed twice. 2010 LS with only 2,900 miles on it and 20inch ss rims, I got 19k for it at trade in.... came home with a 2012 Silverado All-Star edition Connectivity package and Z71 off-road package. Got a hell of a deal on it. I will still be on the forums, met so many great people through here and gained so much knowledge..

Anyone else have a Silverado?

Congrats on the new ride. Silverados look amazing. One of my favorite trucks hands down. Sorry you had to give up your camaro though.

Any suggestions on what accent color i should do for this?
I am not sure which to do since the Z in Z71 is red but i dont think the bowties will look good in red. I was thinking to just go with black.

Also, should i go with chrome or black running boards?

If you want to accent the bowtie, paint it black. Just a personal preference but I'd remove the bowtie/emblems on the tailgate too. Trucks look much cleaner without all the moldings/decals/emblems.

As for the running boards, I say don't do it. Running boards/nerf bars are part of GM's "Elderly Appearance Package". It's not advertised very often.

If you insist on the boards, I'd get black.
