He tried.. the others called this GM's "Come to Jesus moment"..

And CNBC public opinion (which really is nowadays) says 54% want GM dead.. It's official, the American Public has the IQ of a tomato.

Also forgot to mention that they're now pushing Import stocks and companies as the kings of the industry "while Ford and the others slowly fall into irrelevancy."

Some people are too stupid. I have absolutely no respect for people that think that, and personally, if they want GM dead, I want them dead.

Sounds like a personal attack. Delete that post.

Read this real quick before a mod deletes it....

"It's official, the American Public has the IQ of a tomato."

I DISAGREE!!
It was made official when the tomatos voted for the Messiah.

I've met a few tomatoes that were smarter than the American public.

That doesn't really seem like a personal attack to me, it seems more like he's being ironic. 54% of Americans want GM dead, but they don't realize just how many Americans' prosperity hangs in the balance with GM. People wanting GM dead are looking at it from the point of view "Well, I don't drive a Chevy, so what do I care?" and not thinking about their fellow citizens, which he rebutted by seemingly not caring about them.

Honestly I'd be offended if the post were deleted. He didn't insult anyone, direct it at anyone specific, or even say anything that would be unacceptable on the five o'clock news in that context.

So TLDR: Edit it as "If they want me dead, then I want them dead." Nice observation, man. (no joke)

A few of my friends have parents who are high-up in corporations around this area, and most of them are import owners...they all have some sort of vendetta against GM in some way, shape, or form, and always tell me how it's better for everyone that GM goes bankrupt...

I always respond by telling them that it's probably better for everyone that their father's company goes bankrupt as well...to which they get angry and tell me that their fathers don't run their companies to the ground and that they manage their companies well.

I respond by saying, "The sons of the corporate heads of GM thought the same thing."
