If a Trans Am was coming out at the same time would you go for that? there has some been some possible renditons of it on here but i cant find it, maybe somebody can post those. GM maybe wouldnt have brought a lot of camaro die hards in(maybe me) but they would have sold a lot of TA's I think to the Pontiac guys.

I will say, that when I first fell for the F-body, it was a mid-'90s Firebird, but as soon as I saw a classic Camaro, the lust for it ran straight through its generations and my love for the Camaros was far greater than that for the Firebirds.

Now I can't really think of a Firebird I like better than the similar Camaro.

Just how it worked for me...

If a Trans Am were to come out and it bore at least SOME likeness to a past model, particularly of the 2nd gen persuasion, I would drop the Camaro like a bad habit. I won't lie, man. I used to have a 78 and I loved it like a brother. Here is a real old rendition I did that I edited off the Camaro in more of a painting style based off second gen bandits, the wheels are probably the only thing about it that I regret doing. I tried making a futuristic version of the Snowflakes but they ended up more as a cluttered mess, lol:

There are plenty of others that people have whipped up. Even one that this company is apparently going to create by modding Camaros but its front end looks horrible. I am sure people will start posting.

minus the rear wheel flap that is hott, yeah I would leave the camaro on the road for a free sign if the TA resembled that.

Nope! I like the CGM SS. Subtle. Not the "in your face" look of the Z28 with the decals, etc.

I recall the first Trans Am I ever saw. Thought it was the baddest car I'd ever seen. Then "Smokey and the Bandit" came out years later and that was the best Trans Am ever.
