Black Snake Vs Lime Green Chamey

This Black Racer was hunting lizards in the shrubbery near me this morning as I was working in the yard.

The Black Snake was larger, had more power and was meaner but the Lime Green Chamey was faster off the line and had a good reaction time.

Just goes to show you that if you have less power you need to have a better reaction time and be faster off the line, especially in a short distance race.

Hope you enjoy the pictures, the snake is one of two in my yard and is about 2 1/2 feet long, the other one is around 5 ft in length.
