Just saw Scion FRS

First one that I saw in this area.

Doesn't look bad, but $25k is way too much for this car.

It just looks like a fast, mean car. But for 200 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque, its all looks.

I think with a turbo or something a little more peppy to it, they could be onto something.

But the FRS/BRZ are light, 200hp moves them pretty well.

Saw the Subaru version. I love it. Make a fun track car. I like to think of it as a Mazda MX-5 Coupe.

Saw one the other night, thought it looked like a 350Z had sex with a Genesis.

Looked acceptable from the front, didn't enjoy the rear.

Okay car I suppose, just not my taste.

Saw one. Drove one. Very fun to drive.
I am used to small, quick cars so it brought back good memories. Sure it doesn't pull as hard as the Camaro. But it feels like a surgical knife cutting corners.

But then they would charge$35k forthe car.
The marketing is targeting buyers who like Mazda Miata and the original versions of the RX7 and the greatest of them all, the Datsun 240Z.
Reasonable horsepower combined with awesome handling does make a quick car.

With possible body panel gaps a quarter inch out of alignment and a manufacturer who told dealers to monitor the situation because they have no idea how to fix it.

No thanks Toyota.

Ok if you were Toyota/ Subaru and wanted to make a profit how much would the msrp on this brand new fresh of the drawing board 200hp light weight sports car?

Heck my buddy's wife just spent $23k on a Corolla, so I think $25k for a true sports car is cheap for a 2013 model.
