What if the Vette disappeared for seven years?

I believe a big part of the Camaro's popularity is the long layoff it had. Now that it's back, it's more alluring than if they had just moved from the 4th to 5th gen like normal.

Just a thought...if the Corvette were to stop being made for seven years and then reappeared with an even sleeker redesign...would people be just as crazy about it as they are this car? Less crazy? More crazy?

Bowling Green, KY: News reports are now coming in that the recently closed Corvette plant has exploded, completely destroying any chance of the Corvette making a comeback. Further reports show that a small maintenance crew of four men that kept watch of the plant are now missing...
Oh. Oh god.

It won't, maybe it will morph into a turbo ONE cylinder engine with Duracell battery backup. CAFE sucks. Difficult to think that Guys in China and India will have muscle cars while American drivers end up with Golf carts!!!!

That would be a sad day. I think the overall appearance of the new camaro has a lot to do with it. The car just looks perfect.
