wouldn't that be expected, though?

if he wasn't willing to admit doing stuff that could possibly void his warranty, does he deserve to have them fix it?

i agree that dyno testing shouldn't void it... that's just ridiculous!

just wait... next year, it'll void the warranty if you don't have the stealership service it every 3000 miles

When the GTR hit the scenes with its better than can be believed performance, I hated it. Then when I saw them in person, heard what it could achieve and saw the price tag I warmed up.

Since then, Nissan has officially sent me the message that every GTR they build is a ringer. A car they dont want to be accountable for, and something they built to go fast not to last. The GTR gets compared to cars like the GT3, but porsche built the GT3 for a track... and they insure the car will withstand 36k miles of track abuse. Nissan is basically telling people to drive like they own a prius, but advertise the car like it should be driven like a Ferrari. Fail.

The article is a little old but oh well.

I know that a few other high end manufacturers will read the data to see what caused something to fail but they will still warranty it.

I would rather Get a Z06 And drive it like a Mad Man, then Get a GTR and drive it like a civic

I was at a nissan dealership with my sister
she was car shopping and i needed to get out of the house And there was a Chevy dealer right next to it
(no camaro go figure)

and the gtr was nice do not get me wrong but at 83k I would rather pay another 20-30K and get the king of all corvettes

Id rather pay the 20k for a civic than the 90k for a GTR if its going to be driven like a Civic.

I'm in total agreement with you. I looked into buying a GT-R but after going to owners forums and seeing this thing needs to be babied more then a Ferrari and the warranty is void for so many things I couldn't pull the trigger.

Sure it puts up good numbers but you can't do anything with it but drive it like a Sentra without the warranty being voided.
