116,000 mile check in and Good Bye

I loved this site. And, like many of you, spent way too much time on here exploring something that can not be explained to others who don't love cars.
I have put most likely the most miles on a 2010 Camaro. The Camaro still exceeds my expectations. I have replaced one brake light. Change my oil with synthetic and watch the level. If you click on "My Garage" you will see the photo of the day I get my Camaro, June 26 2009. How many people recall their car's anniversary? We're coming up on our third in just a few days. Thought I was getting a ported intake to celebrate it.
Been a member since 2008, and yes, it's an RP6. Stainless Works brought out the first headers for the V6 using my Camaro. AirRaid sent me a free intake from a contest. I also received free carbon fiber parts from contests. Purchased a cool looking hood from a vendor on here too. There have been many changes to my Camaro. It was the fastest on the bolt on V6 1/8th mile for a while. Still fastest positive D.A. 1/8th. Of all the mods, which one do I like best? Tag Ur It. Ha! Thought it was modifications, right?
My Camaro will be going to my son when he gets out of High School in two years.
I have a thin skin and maybe I shouldn't post online. People forget that they are behind a monitor sometimes when they say things that if they were in front of me, would only say it one time.
I have asked Tran to delete my account.

It's been great watching your cars journey. Your son is very lucky to receive a car like this. Hate to see you go.

I am very sad. I hate hearing that responses from idiot(s) have hurt someone so much that they feel they need to leave the site. Please stay in touch with your local Camaro club comrads. I appologize for those who are probably too stupid to do it for themselves. Contact me and I will be sure you continue to recieve club e-mails if that is your wish. Be happy!

PieNsky:

Wow, I'd hate to think that a couple of insignificant jerks would make someone like yourself completely leave the site.

Then it deprives the rest of us...who like you...from having access to your knowledge and opinions.

Maybe instead of deleting your account you can just leave it open and come back once in a while to check things. However, that having been said, I do respect your right to make the decision that you felt you had to make.

I wish you all the best.
