Hi from California

Hi from California, I'm 14 and my name is Joseph. I've always been into American muscle cars, and someday, in the near future I hope to own one. I started my ebay business at the end of last year, when I realized I wanted a sweet ride but my parents couldn't and wouldn't pay for it. Instead, they are supporting my ebay business and will help out a bit when it comes time, which is more than good enough for me. Shortly after that, I decided to work for myself, and in my spare time, I buy and sell modern US militaria. I've saved up a little over 20k in the past 7 months from my ebay business (if you don't believe me here is a link to some of my auctions from the past 3 months:http://www.ebay.com/csc/nsw_geer_sto...mplete=1&rt=nc ) When I get my permit next year, I want to buy a 2013 Camaro SS. By that time I'll have about a years worth of practice (my dad is going to teach me how to drive at the end of the year) I sat in an LT at my local dealership, and just that was amazing, I can't wait to get my own Camaro. I've talked with my dad about getting one, whether I get an LT or an SS will depend on how I drive, but I'm going to try my best to get the SS. Not for street racing, but for the nice V8, an awesome cruiser, and it's power when needed. My dad told me the first time he hears of me doing something stupid in it, he's taking it, probably until I'm 18. Anyways, thanks for welcoming a new and young member to the forum. I hope to learn a lot about the car, so that when it's my time to get one I will be ready. Thanks, Joseph

Joseph, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome!! I did the same thing you are doing and it's well worth it. When I was 13 I cut grass and did odd jobs for a lot of people in Florida. By the time I was 14 I was working in a restaurant at night and still cutting grass after school and on weekends.

The day I turned 16 I bought Garage kept 69 impala and I turned it into a Beast!! Have fun with your car!!

My next car was a 67 GTO and I turned that into an even bigger beast when I was 17!
