Happy Fathers Day - What would you say to Dad?

Thought this might be a good idea. Saw it over on Fark, figured I'd ask here.

What would you say to your Dad if you could (assuming he's no longer here). If he is, tell us what you plan to say to dad.

For me it would be:

Thank you for being my mentor, for being the man and teaching me everything I know, but not nearly everything you knew. For teaching me how a man takes care of his family and how you make running a house look easy.

F**k. Cancer.

Miss you dad.

Thank God, my dad is still with us.....as far as I am concerned, he's the greatest, and I am sure ya'll are too. This is just a little exerpt form something I told him.......

"Dad, you are my HERO, you always have been, and always will be. I am the luckiest little boy in the world because of you. You have given me the most wonderful memories that boy could ask for. Dad, you are my HERO, my Superman, I am so proud to be your son."

Lost dad in 2001, 20 days before I got married, missed you dad, and still do.

I have no idea. I never knew him. He died in 1990 when I was one year old. Mother never remarried. I hear he was an A+ guy though.

Lost my dad 6yrs ago COPD :( now my mom was diagnosed with it last month :(

My dad is still around. When I lose him (hopefully many years from now) I don't know how I will be able to handle it. That thought scares the shit out of me.

My Dad passed away in 2000 after several strokes and conjestive heart failure. He was a super father to three kids and a great husband to my mom (still living - 91 years old). We used to talk quite a bit but if I had to do it over I would have spent even more time with him.

My Mom is 400 miles away, living near my sister, but I try to see her every couple of months. I dread the day when she leaves us. I hate to hear the phone ring.
