Work...what do you do?
I was thinking today while sitting at my desk what does everyone here do for a living? I was just curious to see how many people here work for the automotive industry and what not.
Myself, I am an Electrical Enginnering Technician at a powered metal factory. Basically I design, build and maintain automation such a Robots, Inspection systems and part trasnfer operations. List of companies we supply: Borg Warner Chery Chrysler Ford General Motors Hitachi Honda Magna Powertrain List of products we make: Powder Metal Connecting Rods Powder Metal Main Bearing Caps Planetary Gears Sprockets Tone Wheels Water Pump Hubs

Or, if anybody doesn't want to read the thread, they have the right to not read it. Pretty easy.
I work for a tire company. Funny, as I have an allergy to latex, one of the components in tires made by Kumho, which keeps me out of the warehouse, and in the corporate office. If you have purchased Kumhos for any vehicle east of the Mississippi in the past few years, I'm the guy that sent 'em there! |

I'm a production planner for a manufacturing facility. I work with our customers (Hershey, Johnson & Johnson, etc...) to determine their demands and coordinate the delivery of all supplies needed to meet their needs. Then once everything is ready to go, I schedule the production and see that it's produced on time. Then I make sure the shipments of their finished products get out to door to meet their dates.

Before going back to school I was an automotive tech for Sears Automotive in AZ. Now im a full time college student at ECTCS going for an associates degree in some form of Science lol Automotive Technician. My ultimate goal is to own my own shop and build one of a kind rediculously fast Camaros, as well as being able to use the cars I modify to support charities that support our soldiers and there families. I also want to be able to modify some so that soldiers who've lost limbs can still drive a bad a** camaro that I can donate to them.

Purposely pull over people who aren't breaking the law. Just to ruin their day. So I can make money for myself. I am a selfish ass hole who only cares about making money for my city. I sleep and eat donuts most of my 8 hour shift.
