Arizona Road Trip

I made a trip out to arizona a few weeks ago to pick up my TA. I have good news, the car has a new motor, runs beautifully. Not much of a looker, but that will change over the coming months once I am able to bring the car home.

That was the purpose of the trip, but it didn't work out as planned. My bf and I were not able to get his truck up and running, but we decided to go anyway. So my car got her first 800 mile road trip. I got the best gas milage ever lol.

All in all it was fun. We went to Cali and saw the ocean, got some seashells, drove on Route 66, i got a crash course in replacing a water pump (which is not as hard as my repair manual makes it look, thanks mom

)

We go back at the end of this month with the truck to tow the bird home. I completely trust that the car would make the trip wtih no issues, but just to be safe, we are towing it back. I am super excited.

I love Arizona. Wish I could move out there.

I can't wait to go back. We stayed up in Bullhead City last time.....will probably do that again.

She'll make point five past the posted speedlimit. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself.

I have big plans for the car.

New interior, powder coat some things, paint, fix all the minor things first though lol.

Stay on the Laughlin side of the river, at the Aquarius specifically. Its cheaper and way better on the BHC side.

we stayed at the Riverside.... i like that one.

We went to the Tropicana for a night. That place was nice to.

Where was that old tunnel? I like those old railroad tunnels you occasionally see out here.

it was on a dirt road near Gooseberry Road, Salina, UT as we were heading towards CO. I am thinking that that is what it used to be. The roof of the tunnels were black. It was really cool.

I will be taking a lot more this time that we go.
