Our flower guy is watering flowers...in the rain.

So I just pulled into the SO and noticed our garden guy watering the flowers in the rain. It's was pretty decent rain too. Pic doesn't look like it bc there is a balcony that covers the whole walk way so it is all dry. He's over there on the side of his truck though watering away.

Its actually really easy to quick wash all the nasty of the car if you do it when its been raining. All the dirt and stuff is already soaked from the rain, so you just come along and spray it off. But I agree washing it during a downpour is crazy.

Actually did you happen to think he is feeding the flowers? Large flower beds require nutrients to continue to thrive and most are delivered diluted with water....... Either that or he his very short bus special.........

Unless it's a steady drenching rain the foliage prevents a lot of rain from reaching the roots. The dude watering is probably getting right down in under the foliage to water. There could be some potted plants in there he's hitting. Who knows - I've watered plants standing in the pouring rain when I used to work at a greenhouse/nursery so I feel his pain.
