Videos From Opening Night @ Cecil County Dragway (New Cement Surface)
Went to Cecil County Dragway last Friday night for their opening night of the 2012 season. It was PACKED. New track surface (concrete) is quite nice! Great work on their part. They didn't have the sensors for the 1/4 mile finished 'til about 9pm, so we ran 8th mile 'til then (blahhh). I only got in 3 runs from 6:45pm 'til about 9:15pm. My runs were as follows:
6:45pm: R/T: .247 60': 2.365 330': 6.129 1/8: 9.079 MPH: 84.03 1000': 1/4: MPH: 7:45pm: R/T: .422 60': 2.283 330': 6.033 1/8: 8.993 MPH: 83.78 1000': 1/4: MPH: 9:15pm: R/T: .652 60': 2.227 330': 5.892 1/8: 8.811 MPH: 84.83 1000': 1/4: 13.404 MPH: 107.49 I was spinning in 1st & and 2nd. Still having my usual traction issues. Front tires were at 40 psi cold, the rears at 25 psi cold. I launched from 2000 to 3000 depending on the run. And here are the videos of myself and some buddies who raced last night (Some GoPro on-board, some with my cell phone)... Mustang GT vs. 5th Gen Camaro SS, then my Trans Am vs. Fairlady 300ZX TT: 2011 WRX vs. EVO: SRT8 WK vs. E36 M3: Dakota R/T vs. Chevy Malibu: Trans Am vs Camaro ahead of me then my Trans Am vs. Mustang GT:

It was fun, just WAY too many people there. I was going to go tonight but the Flyers are playing. May go on Fri night... not sure yet. I hate the amount of ricers you get on Fri nights.
