I'm just curious as to who started that thing that the speedometer does when you start up the engine. The camaros, Nissan, BMW all have it now

had one of the first altima's when the last redesign came out, bought it for the performance and not so much for the looks, that 3.5 was a blast to drive but the torque steer was a bitch!

Once the gauges went to being controlled by the Body Control Module, they started doing the sweep. It allows the BCM to test the gauges for function.

Meh.....I'll reserve my opinion until I see the car in person. Car companies know how to get the best angles and shading on teaser pictures. Cars always look kinda cool in the early production teaser pics but they rarely live up to the hype when I see them in person. Besides, it's a Nissan Altima.....most of them on the road will be cheaper, lower trim models.
