So sick of cheap, leaking, travel mugs....

I realize for most this may be a petty concern; however, I travel a lot and absolutely need coffee first thing in the morning while driving. Inevitably, my travel mugs leak - have gone through many and would like a good one.

Just looking for any input on a good mug that will last, not leak, and not taste like "plastic".

Thanks

Funny, I'm looking also, but I need a short one so my Hurst doesn't hit.

I too had been searching for years! However, I found one over the holidays at Starbucks. I've had this mug since December and have had no issues. It is also super easy to clean. Just make sure you rinse it out when you are done with your coffee and not leave it or it will be ruined but that is the case with any travel mug. I've had no issues with leaking either.

Thanks - apparently not a lot of interest in travel mugs out there. That's fine, but will look into Starbucks next time I'm there.

Here's the best one I've found. I love mine.

by the way, just make sure you hand wash it and not use the diswasher on it.

Look for Thermos ... I have 2 of those, 1 bottle 1 mug, hella good ... I put lemonaid + ice in the bottle, leave it in the car, park outside, in the shade, the next day, the ice still there ...

Never tried with hot tho )

Thanks all - just ordered the Thermos - pricey, but hopefully worth it - great reviews.

Starbucks makes a ceramic travel mug for the VIA instant coffee. It only holds 8oz but it is sturdy with a decent lid and short enough to not get in the way. Especially nice with a manual. Starbucks also sells a similar 12oz version online.
