How I think the Camaro vs Mustang should go...

I get really tired of all of the mustangs are better than camaro and vice-versa.

I think what would really prove which is best, is the same tranny gear ratios, same rear end gears ratios, also the same body weight and suspension.

Make it a motor vs motor. I know that a mustang with 373s can beat my 345s. But people are so quick to bash each other without thinking logical.

If i was a billionaire, Id do the test my self, but since im not, I cant.

Another way to test which is best is to get 50 hot chicks and tell them to stand next to the car that is better looking. Which ever car has the most babes win.

But we all know which one will win then....Camaro FTW

I am all the research you need. 2 weeks ago, I traded in my Mustang GT for my incredible 2012 IOM Camaro SS!

I really hate the "look at sales figures", back in the LS1 days Mustangs were outselling Camaros and Firebirds COMBINED! Does that mean the Mustangs were the better car just because more dads bought Mustangs for their high school daughters? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks/styling are subjective. The only way to tell which is the "better" car is to line them up. I don't care how many Camaros get sold we are still getting our asses handed to us by the Mustang boys. Don't get me wrong I would never buy a Mustang over a Camaro, but I'm also not going to ignore the facts.

I've had tons of quick cars over the last 13 years or so.

mainly a ford guy though, work at a ford store, but we own a chevy store too.

I bought the ws6 for the wife, while i had my 99 cobra, mainly because i wanted one of each, then i wanted a vette too, so that was our 3 cars, then the wife got prego, and we ditched the chevy's.

i was bored one day at work a couple years back, so i bought an 08 ls3 from our chevy store, it was pretty nice, ran 10.8's, sounded mean as hell with the lt's and exhaust.
