Trade-in/"upgrade" forum

Just a thought as these cars get older, perhaps a forum for trade-ins, selling used, etc. might be helpful.

Seems more and more are showing up in the General Discussions, and inevitably include the V-8 is better than the V-6 thing. Not just because of that, but there are getting to be more and more who are seriously looking to buy something else after having owned their present car for a few years, and are looking for sound advice, rather than just an impulsive "up-grade"...This is normal after a few years, and not uncommon.

Seems like a lot of it is repetition, where if they had one spot for these, they could more readily decide what route to take without all the hype...

Couldn't agree more, i was seconds away from suggesting a forum strictly for people that have had a v6 and moved up to a v8 to be able to post pictures and explain their pros and cons between the move. That would help ALOT of people out the most, especially people that are in between both!

Good points...especially having honest examples of how things went, instead of trying to just brag, or whatever...

Was also thinking such a forum could include basics such as depreciation, interest-rates, re-financing, dealership "tactics", etc., without all the emotions and mis-information that follows...Just bugs me how some are "clueless" and get hosed or don't even understand the "deal" they just made...
