HELP. In need of opinions

So without giving the whole drug out story, I have the choice between two project cars. A 60 caddy coupe deville that needs new floor pans, rockers, a quarter panel (about $1500 in parts), complete drivetrain overhaul, maybe a windsheild if the crack cant be fixed and paint. Or a 67 corvette 'vert with no engine or paperwork (but it should be attainable) and in need of paint. Which should I go with?

Go with the Vette.

1960 Coupe Deville parts and trim a lot harder to come by.

If it was a complete 68 Coupe Deville 472 or 68 Eldorado 472 with little rust it would be a harder decision.

Have the bird cage on the Vette checked if you haven't already... if it's good, thats +1 for the car.

Would be a shame to dump a fortune into it just to find it's history shows it stolen... check that VIN

Its good, dad bought the car in the 80s and sold to a friend who has recently retired from racing and is now selling the car. At some point in the last few years the previous owner called to say he had found the title and original paperwork but since the car has been a drag car for so long they never worried about obtaining it. The big thing here is price I can get in on the caddy 4k where the vette will take 12.
