You can save your own life

I did something yesterday that everyone around 50 years old should do, colon cancer screening. I know most people do not like to think about cancer until it strikes a friend or family member. But this is a simple 15 minute procedure that can save your life. Granted the prep is not the most pleasant experience but it is far better than the alternative.
Sure there was little anxiety and trepadation but you have to suck it up and just do it. I'm glad I did.
My screening went well with no issues. Now I can live my life without thinking there may be a timebomb in my body.
By the way, if you have family history of this disease it is even more reason to have it done.
