Katech Track Attack right before C5FIII!
Hey everyone! Right now we are not entirely sure exactly what opportunities will exist to get a track event together for the C5FIII. Obviously last year the facilities at FIR made for a memorable day of track driving for all of the C5 owners who took part!
But this year, we just wanted to mention the Katech Track Attack as an extra opportunity for C5Fest goers. The Track Attack is taking place a couple days before the fest just 3 hours north in Joliet, IL. We have been taken part in this event in the past and can say it is absolutely one the best events that is put on for two days of hard driving and instruction from GM FACTORY DRIVERS ![]() Katech is GM's GO TO company for racing engines in their factory road racing campaigns. Katech puts on this fantastic event for everyone and originally made it for Corvette owners because they supplied the engines in the factory Corvette Racing program. Now, with Katech supporting the Camaro Racing programs, they want to invite any Camaro owners to participate in the Track Attack! So, if you find your self wanting some serious track time before the Camaro5 Fest III, why don't you make a week of it and head on up to the Autobahn country club with everyone for a couple of days, then head down to the Camaro5Fest III in Indy! Here are the details from Katech: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197386 Quote:

Aw man! I would have loved to partake in this as I had an absolute blast from the one that you folks at Pfadt put together at C5Fest 2. However with the long haul from the El Paso, TX area, it really doesn't look like that would be able to fit in my schedule :(

No matter what your skill level, there will be SOMEONE there who can teach you something about car control and how to get the most out of your Camaro. ![]() |
