I know JDPower can be sort of a dubious ranking system, but grats to GM and American manufacturers in general. Buick #1 Mercury #5 Lincoln #8 Cadillac #9 GMC and Chevrolet slightly below industry average but they've moved up every year. |

Keep in mind that the vehicles in this survey are actually 2006 models...GM's overall dependability should increase dramatically with next year's study.
