Almost @ my down payment goal ;)

My goal was to have $10k to put down. Im only about $2k away, as long as the stock I'm going to sell doesn't keep dropping.

For a while I honestly gave up on my SS dreams because I suck at managing money. Now Im almost there after buckling down a bit.

Im placing my order in January with either a local dealer or Scotty. I need to do more research on these local guys first.

Im so excited and proud of myself.

I'll be joining the club very soon!

Congrats Hemlawk! I remember the feeling of almost having enough for my down payment. It's a nightmare for that last little bit to make it. Keep on digging in. It's all worth it in the end!

I'm shooting for a 2ss/RS Cgm m6 w/ sunroof.

I was thinking about Beige int, but honestly I can't go wrong with black. Eventually I'd like paint RED stripes and calipers. First mods will be SLP LM2 axel back, CAI cai and skip shift.

PFADT lowering springs and sway bars later on.

Or to pay for my plane ticket and hotel if I buy from Scotty.

I figured I'd drive to Ohio, stay over night, let her cool down, then haul ass home the rest of the way. I don't wantto drive the new car 16 hours straight.

If your concerned about money, why not get a slightly preowned one and save $5K or more? Especially when there isnt that many options, you should be able to find what you want. I also assume you are a Bill Elliott fan, if so its Dawsonville. No E. Congrats either way.

Naw, I want it fresh off the assembly line. I've never owned a new car, I dont intend on ever selling the Camaro so I might as well do it right. The money situation is fine, I just need to be smarter with it.

besides, I just started a higher paying job.

Sounds like youre a little closer than me, but I'm trying to get that down payment saved too! It's been a long wait with a lot of bumps and forks along the way, gotta just keep chuggin along! Congrats!!!
