Staying Alive in The Wall

I read the description, and thought I was going to absolutely hate this. I was pleasantly surprised.

Okay, I'll go hang myself now. I didn't like dicksco back then ,and it's even worse to use it to screw up a good song.

Never cared for the Bee Gee's but that was good. Surprised as well.

I hated disco in high school. My yearbook had one of my goals in life was to put all the disco albums ever made into the Kingdome, and nuke it. I still don't like disco, but I have heard the music, and some of it wasn't all bad. The BeeGees aren't anywhere near the band Floyd is.

Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands. It's been my favorite many times, as have 4 other bands (Rush, Led Zeppelin, Yes and Dream Theater). I've been to The Wall in Los Angeles and then several other concerts by both them and Waters after they split up.

So...believe me, I went into the video prepared to absolutely hate it. It was really well executed though.

I believe they sped up the Pink Floyd track a little to match tempo, but at least the Floyd part takes the lead...with the BeeGees at rythym.

At home once I get home from work, now...Word came down from above that our department was spending too much time on the internet. Even though I was getting the job done (and able to multitask while waiting on stuff to run). Even so, I have several sites that are news aggregate sites that usually have some great links, and I post the ones that I find the most interesting.
