Netflix.... edited?!

Was watching Breaking Bad tonight on netflix... Wife went back to watch the first episode, noticed that they are EDITING at least the first season of the show.... WTF?! Sorry, but I pay good money for this service, why the #)*I^ are the editing the original content???!! (and yes, I just edited myself, as this is a public forum)

That's not Netflix, the show comes on AMC, which is cable so they cannot say certain words. It's how it originally was made.

False. The first time I watched that season, it was NOT censored, and we just finished season 3 which was uncensored. I actually called Netflix to inquire about this BS and they said that indeed the first couple episodes on season 1 are now censored due to a different company providing the show or some such nonsense. Netflix just continues to make poor decisions, I can't wait for a company to replace their butts.

Not a fan of Brian Cranston on BB? His character has a lot of the same traits as Hal from Malcolm in the Middle.

it's not netflix that's doing the censoring (geez, can't blame everything on them)...it's whatever distribution company provides the DVD or streaming content.

Good money for the service? The charge is only around 7.99 for unlimited watching of 100k titles, seems like a good deal. They can only offer what they get. We use netflix and are happy.
