Just Great.

Well on top of all my other life problems I have a guy that wants to talk to my boss and have my job.

He brings in a notebook for his daughter and grand daughter and says it has issues. So go to work on it and it is passworded and no one ever calls me back with password. So I blow the password on the administator account in Vista and get the machine working right with that account. They take machine home and all is fine with that account.

Then they say it has same issues with other accounts on machine that the admin account I fixed no longer has but the other accounts do. So machine comes back in and they finally give me the password. I check the account and it all works fine. So I call the customer and say I can't find a problem, could they please come and show me the problem. He says call his daughter. I do, no answer so I leave message to call me.

She calls me and I explain I can not find a problem. She is about 1 hour away so I say just have you dad come by and I will show him since he saw the issue and he can see it working ok.

Next thing I know this guy is calling for my boss. I called him up and asked did he mean me or did he want my boss. He then lays in to me that I was rude to his daughter, rude to him this morning and he wants to talk to my boss and get me canned.

Then he tells me his daughter is coming for the computer tommorrow and if I am mean to her it is all over for me. And he is going to tell everyone in town we suck.

I am like WTF. I even asked the office manager who sits behind me if I had been rude to anyone today and she said no. This is just another headache I do not need.

I feel for you brother!!! Some people are just D*cks!!!!
You have enough to worry about don't let this guy get under your skin. He will get his in the end. I bet his entire life is the same way, always looking to blame someone else. Forget about that TURD and enjoy the good things in life!!!

The only good thing going for me is we are a small shop. 4 people, I am the only hardware tech and do all inside repairs and do 1/5 of the onsite stuff. So I guess if my boss was going to can me he may have to close up. Actually they thought about closing up before they found me when their last tech left.

Guess we will see what happens. Good thing I payed off the home equity loan. That was 700.00 a month I was paying on so if things go bad I don't have to worry about that bill.

This one if free. I charged him when we fixed it a week and 1/2 ago. Now they come back and say the the other accounts do not work. I was planning on not charging them. I want to charge them, but I would rather just get them out of the shop and have 1 less headache.

i hated dealing with computer morons when I did internet support. everyone thinks it's your internet that is the problem, I had a habit of proving people that it was their computer that sucked, one time a guy got to my boss that I was rude to him or something and he completely lied about it. I got fired, what that guy didn't think about was that we know where they live..

not trying to jack your thread but.... My laptops fan makes alot of noise know of anything i could do to fix it? I promise I wont complain...

Get a can of compressed air and blow it on the fan. The blades could of collected dust and have it off balance. Also good to blow the air thru any air slots on the machine to free up any clogged heatsink channels.
