13' Genesis Coupe gets 345hp V6!

Hyundai is re-freshening the Genesis Coupe for 2013. It will now have an updated look which I will say looks ALOT better than the current Genesis Coupe I like what they did with the lines on the hood, and the grill looks tons better than the current older model. The base 4 Cylinder engine will now have 271hp & 275lb's of torque. The new 3.8L V6 will get 345hp & 295lb's of torque. Also an 8-speed atuomatic will be available in both engine types as well. That is impressive hp/tq for a 3.8 engine. I'm interested in seeing some performance times.......I'm guessing mid/high 13's in the 1/4 mile and low 5's for 0-60. The weight of the car (3500 lbs. I believe) is really the only thing holding it back from Camaro SS and 5.0 Mustang territory.

Its about the same specific output as the 3.6 in the Camaro

They still need a V8 to complete the coupe line.

That is a seriously ugly front end. It looks like they tried to rip off the Subaru BRZ and Nissan GTR but got it all wrong, because instead of channeling these two designs, it's channeling the Sonata and Camry instead.

If they only ommitted the horizontal metal bars from the grille, it would look so much better.

Who cares if it is foreign or not, if the car is a sports car and it's not riced out...I can respect. Obviously, that's not something you are mature enough to handle.

It kinda looks like it was sticking its nose into the window of the Cool Kids's club...ala Camaro, Mustang...

Dude, he was probably talking about the bad reputation Hyundai has had for a while. They may be making decent cars now, but that does not change a reputation instantaneously. Even if that is not what he is talking about, just chill and relax.
