Found this over at Corvette Forum. Please check out post #12.....pics 6 & 8. Is this all they could do with 650 HP?

are these official release pics? i find it weird that a car that is advertised as being able to go 200+ mph has a speedo that only goes to 160

They are pics from Ford. Good catch on the speedo. Dunno why they would post every other pic of the 2013 sans the speedometer.

I don't know much about the mustangs but this is what one person said in that thread.

"And I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that's a GT cluster anyway, that's the script that GTs have used lately, the GT500s has been completely different, and will probably have a 200 mph speedo. Plus it's only a 4 gauge cluster, GT500s have 6 gauges. The 4 gauge cluster is only available on base GTs and Boss 302s."

That's pretty obviously a pic from the GT or Boss 302, not the GT500. The dead give away is the 160mph speedo.

With the 7K redline, and 160mph speedo, it's a GT.

I was guessing the numbers on the screen were simulated for a GT like you see in a phone commercial. The reason I assume that is because the odometer shows 12345.6 miles and I dont see a boost gauge.
