New here

Hi all, I just wanted to say hi!! I have a 2010 camaro 2lt rs ibm and I love it! I'm planning a ton of mods with it now so I thought I would join this great forum after reading so many threads! Eventually I want to get twin turbos but that won't be for another year or so. With winter coming I'm thinking about getting a commuter car just so I don't have to ruin my baby . I'm thinking about getting a 2003 jetta with only 50k miles on it for 7k. Does anyone think this is a good idea? I just want some advice on whether or not the price is good and if the jetta is a reliable car or not. It has a 2.0l in it just in case you were wondering what type of engine.

BlueAngel, CONGRATS and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome. Don't know much about the Jetta (I specialize in Lexus/Toyota/Scion) but if you like it, the mileage is low enough it shouldn't give you many prob.'s! Make sure the price is same or lower than what they are going for in your area (I use autotrader). Have a mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection (worth the $40-100).
