I do have to ask...I mean, I see rocks and sticks when I am mowing and stop before hitting them...this person ran over a 2 year old!! It is not possible to run over something the size of a medium to large sized dog without seeing it. No way.
I bet she still has a driver's license in the state of Florida!! Damn sad on all counts.

I'm glad I read all the responses before clicking the link. Don't deal well with thing that involve kids. Ears start burning. Especially if it's due to not paying attention.
Like Jordan said my thoughts and prayers go to the family and friends. |

I know a doctor who accidentally ran over his toddler with a mower. Had he not been an emergency room doctor, living next door to the fire chief (who arranged the helicopter landing zone), the child wouldn't have survived. But he did, miraculously...
It's tragic that these kind of accidents happen, but, according to statistics, about 10,000 children per year are injured by lawnmowers....

i'm still having a hard time picturing a kid being pulled by a lawnmower, which i assume is driving forward, the kid falling forward, and still getting trapped under the lawnmower...

Same here.. How does this happen? It's really not making much sense at the moment.

Horrible story to hear.
Maybe he fell out while she was turning. That's about the only thing I can make sense of....
