using a helicopter esc and motor for a airplane?

Hi folks, i want to know the difference between helicopter electric motor VS plane electric motor. I just buy on hobbycool.com a Brushless motor Park 470 KV1700 + 60A ESC
It look like it's for helicopter, but can i use this for a plane?

if no, then can u explaine me why...

I mean seriously; six posts (threads) and they all have to do with RC planes/helicopters and a website called hobbycool.com...

Something doesn't seem right here.

Today I went to Orielly's to change out my serpentine belt, as I walked by one of the Orielly's associates who was helping somebody asked me if I knew where the sparkplugs would be on a Honda Civic... I simply told him that; "I don't know, I only work on American vehicles."

He told me that was the best damn answer he ever heard.
