Let's talk TV's

Looking to buy a new flat screen. I want to stay 55" or bigger. So far, I've been unable to decide between a plasma or LCD. I have been holding out, hanging on to my rear projection for too long. I've read so many reviews lately that my head is starting to hurt What does the majority on here feel is the best picture, and reliability. I am not a videophile, so I don't necessarily need a $6k TV to be happy. Opinions and experiences welcomed.

I have a 3D LED. You can get them with screens 55" for under $2k.

Plasmas are good, but you're definitely better off going with LED!. imo

Samsung 55" LED 3D here, and the picture is awesome ... Spent $3k at Best Buy and bought the whole system. Got the TV, 3D BD player, sound bar, nice wood stand and six pairs of glasses. Used their 3yr zero percent plan, it's good to use their money.

I vote LED... those plasma's are really heavy, it sucks trying to mount one by yourself.

LED and the brand you want is LG. Don't waste your money on the 3D crap. It is a gimmick that won't last. It is already dying out.

Make sure and play with a display model well, [brand name escapes me this sec tv is in the other room] Coby but 100% happy with it cept for the speed at which it changes channel.

seems to pause with each change way to long for my liking.

LED Smart TV - not only is the picture AMAZING (I swear it looks like real people in your living room rather than just on a tv screen) but you can hook up to the internet and stream movies, or the internet.... its AWESOME!
