Cars and Coffee v.9.24

Mother Nature has been messing with us waaaaaay too much lately here in So Cal. It is dripping sweat in the shade hot during the week and cloudy with drizzle on the weekend. It just isn't right!

This of course resulted in a so so turn out at this past weekend's Cars and Coffee. The show stealers where a 69 Camaro with huge wheels, huge breaks, and oh yeah Corvette ZR1 drive-train. But what if you're not into Chevy's? Well Ford guys had a Hennesy Supercharged Laguna Seca Boss 302 putting out 580 WHP according to John. Begging the question, what would you rather take? A Shelby GT500 or a Supercharged Laguna Seca Boss 302? Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. If you're into imports you had a Motorex Skyline R32 to drool over, it was making over 700whp with a few upgrades to say the least. Other than that it was the usual.

Hope you guys enjoy this weeks picks of the pics:

Douche of the week:

This guy flew into the lot and got air over the speed bump at the entrance. I walked up to him right when he got off his bike....

Me: I saw what you did when you came in. That was quite a bit of air.
Douche: It was cool wasn't it?!
Me: Not it wasn't you where going way too fast to be coming into a parking lot full of pedestrians. You could have easily hit someone and caused serious injury.
Douche:Well...
Me: You looked pretty Douchie as you did that. You didn't look cool. You're not a kid you shouldn't be showing off.
Him: I looked what?
Me: That you are a Douche only a Douche would do something like that. Guess what you aren't cool. Nobody is going to swoon over you for doing that. You're not going to get crowned king of the car show. Nobody is going to come over here to tell you how cool you are.
Him: *silence, pretends to be doing stuff with phone*

That red 1969 Camaro with the black CA plate is probably the best engineered and built '69 in the world. It has a LS9 with an amazing suspension and chassis. I believe it was built by Mark Stielow, who is a former GM engineer and is known for building the best '69 Camaro's in the world.

There were a bunch of cool cars in this one. That 69 is pretty bad ass.

That's called the stretched look. Yes some people actually think it looks good

It's popular in the ricer crowd.
