Career choices

So it's that time of my life where i have to really start thinking about what i want to do with my life.

So let's cut to the chase, i'm interested in
1. Law enforcement, follow in my father's footsteps. police.
2. Coast Guard.
3. Airline pilot, with some sort of service wiith the USA to get my training.

These are all great options it's just I cannot narrow it down. Each day I see police and know the great things they do, but I also go to school right next to an internation airport and love seeing the planes land and take off while i day dream in class

My school had a college fair and I spent around 15 minutes talking to the Coast Guard's rep. He was rather old but I gave him so much respect, and i could tell he wasn't just trying to recruit me. He gave me genuine answers. i had thoughts about the coast guard prior to meeting him and he re-sparked my interest.

What it all comes down to is, helping people. It's just a part of me, and I am also super-tech savy. Are there good careers in the tech field? I'm not your average teenage nerd, I'm way beyond that haha.

Any insight is appreciated.

I am concerned with $ too, I mean I want to live comfortably.

My advice is to do what you want to the most. The money will come if you do it well...[/QUOTE]

What do you think about joining a branch of our military? Free training, veteran status..?

The more I hear about joining a branch, it sounds like the right decision.

Do the military for four years and do school for next 4 on G.I. Bill. Nothing like the experience the military can give you while your young and why go into debt paying for school if Uncle Sam will fork over?
