I feel like I had a one night stand

Ok, I know our time together was short but I traded my 2011 Cyber Gray SS/RS today. I've had Corvettes for the past 8 years or so and sold a 2009 Vert last May. I was looking for something to have on those nice drive days and thought the SS would fit the bill. Now don't get me wrong, it was a very nice car. Great power, handling, looks to kill..... But.... (there's always a But..)

The car was just too big for me. At 5ft 7 I just felt the car was huge. (it's longer than my 2007 V8 4Runner). I just didn't feel comfortable in the car. So with only 750 miles and 3 weeks, I traded it for a used 2009 Corvette. In the end, another 55 bucks a month and the Corvette just seems to fit me so much better. 8500 miles, 4lt loaded. (4LT is the upgrade leather package with doors and dash pad wrapped) It's a one owner car and flawless. So took the plunge.

I really enjoyed reading on the forum, and I'll drop by from time to time. I'm not a snob, I'm not some creepy Corvette guy. I really love the look of the Camaro; however it just wasn't the right car for me!

Thanks for listening!

I'm not a Vette guy, but let me say that is one beautiful Vette you have got yourself there. Good luck with it.

Well as long as you didn't catch anything, you got your back scratched up and walked away with a smile on your face who can blame you. It's a beautiful vette, hope your very happy together

Respectfully ,

We don't mind sharing the forums with creepy corvette guys, so all is good!

Grats on the beautiful car, and glad that you have a car that fits ya better! (I am 6'2" and have a bad back, so the Vette would be the less comfy car for me, so I FULLY understand looking for comfort and choosing the better car for ya.)

I'm not too small, no.. but the car just felt big to me. (and that's just me) The A-pillar was difficult seeing through and with the Onstar box by the rear view mirror I found it difficult to see. Again, that just me! It's a beautiful design. Very Muscular and Masculine. That's a good thing!

I'm just Corvette guy I guess. ( I hope that's not a bad thing!) And hey, think if as the Camaro's older sister!

Congrats on the Vette! Looks gorgeous! I'm 5'7" as well and I can understand what you mean. I kind of like it though. Akin to being inside a stealth bomber and just as badass. Tint the windows, the driver disappears and it becomes a faceless machine. Maybe that's just the introvert in me.
