Would you Buy it? I would!

The GMC Pad Concept

I always said that I spend more time in my car than in my house. Why not combine the two?

Most of you I've bet have seen Star Wars...well, this reminds me of a car version of the Millenium Falcon.

I wonder how much something like that would go for...

This is my 3000th post, btw!!!

Wait till I hit 65, put some new rims on it and... yeah, I'd buy it. Come to think of it, when I turn 65+ I probably won't care what kind of rims it has.

65? No, no, no. This thing's designed for the hip, young crowd. This is not an RV, it's a mobile party pad. Think VW Van from the 70's, now add 30 years.

reeeeally? Man, I need to get up from this damn computer more often...

I still wouldn't buy it, don't need a party wagon. I couldn't call this home though because it's too small for me. I guess it'd be great for tailgater's I suppose. I mean, If you were to call this home, where would you park it on a daily basis?

I could definitely call it home. I don't need that much space in my room. The only real problem is that it doesn't have a bathroom. While there are many decent, clean public bathrooms around, the same cannot really be said for public showers.

If something like this were to become popular, I think we would see a large increase in public storage spaces, Pad-customized daily/weekly/monthly parking spaces, and higher class full-service public restrooms.

I'd have to win the lottery first...but then I'd buy it - and turn it into a Moblie Command center.

All those TV screens? Hmf, I'd outfit a machine gun turret up top in that "sun-room", A couple of Infra-red missle pods up front, Plate the whole damn thing with Titanium, and Outfit it with some sort of signature-nullification.
Then I'd contact the govn't and link up my state-of-the-art onboard computing system to the US security network, and go Roaming the middle east.... j/k
I'd probably do all that just to sit inside and photoshop...

yeah, I'm nuts...sorry

It's my rec room but mobile. Now friend's don't need to come over to enjoy Halo 3. You can bring the party to them. No need to drink and drive, drink and sit and drive home in the morning.

Outfit it w/ a shower, bathroom, and small kitchen and it's a go. Looks like nothing but a media center...great for tailgate parties and the like. But, I'd need more to make it my home (if I was by myself).

It's got a small kitchen built in. Each item was custom made specifically for the concept. I agree that it would be nice to have a full bathroom built in, but there's really no space for it, and I wouldn't suggest making it any bigger than it already is.

They did say there's a built in spa in the back, so maybe they could work something out with that?

With GM, something like that is so far away from production it's silly

Yeah...just saw the small kitchen. So, we need a bathroom, shower, and need those sofa seats to somehow pull out into a bed...or something like that.
