Exclamation SPECTACULAR: 1936 Chevrolet Production Line Video

This is a high quality movie reproduced in video format of a 1936 Chevrolet production line set to music. Great historical piece. I believe the 1936 was the first all steel Chevrolet.

Very good video. Just imagine, it was 1936 and the assembly line look similar as todays one. Ford was a genious.

Sad part: All those man are not alive anymore.

Interesting to see the proximity of the workers to the dangerous machinery. No OSHA back in those days. Also interesting to remember this same factory built airplanes, tanks and war material 5 years later.
I assume this is Detroit or vicinity. Sad to see what has happened to Detroit today.

That's pretty amazing. Notice the complete lack of distance between the worker and moving equipment. And the proximity of the workers to the moving line. A lot of safety improvements in 75 years..............even the last 25 for that matter.

Yeah well, back then the workers didn't need anyone to tell them not to stick their fingers in the path of the moving parts

Really captivating with the music.

Amazing how it doesn't look much different from a modern factory.
