Challenger Concept ran out of gas
I found these pics on Motortopia.com, They were only accompanied by the description:
Oops... No Gas gauge on the Concept! Thought it would be funny to share. This happened at Woodward. It is real retro. but I like that in it. No way close to the Camaro though. |

I can just imagine the design meeting regarding instrumentation
Engineer: Where's the gas gauge Designer: It didn't look right so we didn't put it in E: Will it ever be driven? D: Yes E: Then put a gas gauge in there! All cars need a gas gauge! D: But it will looks stupid E: We will look stupid if it runs outta gas! D: That will never happen |

Now all we needed was somebody in the 09 Camaro to stop by and ask if they need help.

Remember how the Chrysler/Challenger Head got pissed when that Camaro trailer pulled by?
"Shows what a wuss move it was, that the car had to be trailered, the Challenger drives to it's events." Well, at least our car hasn't run out of gas ![]() That's great, I love it. |

Those weren't his exact words...but I distinctly remember him saying 'wuss', he was pissed. Now, pay close attention - will GM say anything derogatory about the Challenger/gas issue...no, I think not.

I was browsing the web while also checking this thread. I was prompted by something I saw in one of my dad's car mags. Anyway, please redirect me to an existing thread where this info should be posted, though it is kinda on topic
"Chrysler could be planning a more powerful Hemi to enable it to compete with a top-of-the-line performance version of the Chevrolet Camaro. Back in January, GM's Bob Lutz said Chrysler's 425 horsepower 6.1-liter Hemi was not a concern" |

I feel like to fully appreciate that Challenger, I need to really work hard on my mullet.
Hilarious find, by the way. |

Shit, just start up the old die presses from the '69 Chevelle and update everything else in them. I would buy it. |

Yeah muscle cars are huge right now. Just look at the market on used ones. I get so much looks and attention in the '65 Stang that it is rediculous. Sure it's a Ford, but that car is a MAGNET.

[QUOTE=Dragoneye;21256]Remember how the Chrysler/Challenger Head got pissed when that Camaro trailer pulled by?
"Shows what a wuss move it was, that the car had to be trailered, the Challenger drives to it's events.["QUOTE] first off, why should he be pissed for chevy using a trailer? that just shows exactly how scared he is of the camaro, finding that he can't find ANYTHING on his car that is better than the camaro exept, the challenger isn't in a trailer. That's just because nobody cared for the well being of that challenger, seeing as how nobody cares for the challenger, how is chevy makinga wuss move? it's dodge's designer who felt lie using tracing paper to make their challenger. the only reason chrysler doesn't put their challenger in a trailer, is because there's plenty of 70's challengers that they can drive around proclaiming, "Look everybody! this is what you are gettingin 2009 because we hired our designer from a kindergarten class!!"

Here's a question I don't believe I've heard answered.
Will all the talk about the Camaro's rear window rolling down or not, what is the word on the Challengers rear window?? Will it roll down? And if so, why can't the Camaro's? |
