My New (used) Winter Car

Picked up a winter car over the weekend. I wanted to be able to garage my Camaro during the Chicago winter and get something with 4x4 that I could haul stuff with if I needed to. A co-worker of my dad's told him about his son's Durango that they were donating to charity because he could not afford the gas anymore. It's a 2000 Durango 4x4 with the Magnum 4.8, 118,000 miles, newer tires and a new battery. Just needs to be cleaned up from sitting the past 4 months. Sold it to me for $500.

Nope, no mods on this one. The AC does not work, and I don't intend on getting it fixed. Am going to replace the brakes, and maybe a tune-up, and that's it. All the mod money goes to the Camaro.

nice. I had a 99 4X4 durango with the 5.2 here a few years back. fun little beast. already had a 3" lift on it. didnt really want to get rid of it, but cash for clunkers was offering 2k more than what I paid for it, so it got traded in for my wifes Jetta.

the 8 person seating capability rocked for beach parties!
