Sangyup Lee is a really talented designer. Regardless of his roots, he can certainly design an American classic.

Hell yes I was born in Italy but Im a damn proud American so what if his roots are korean he brought back an ICON in true ICON style

I too think it was awesome that he could do such a thing. I guess it takes a fresh pair of eyes to see the true beauty in the Camaro and where to take it into the next decade.

Still, I lol'd at the "Last time the Camaro was hot in the showrooms."

Wouldn't that make him.. uh.. 12?

My desktop is the fifth gen next to the first gen. Let me tell you, even if he was a little boy in Korea at the time, he nailed it. I'm not into this whole retro thing. I think the Challenger is pointless. The Camaro is the perfect modern interpretation of the original design. If you didn't know the heritage, it would look like a thoroughly modern performance coupe, but put it side by side with the first gen and everything that defined it is all there. Absolutely brilliant.
