The "more modern engines" part better mean "a lot more horsepower". The original ones had something like 160 or 180 HP, but with the bodies made of stainless steel, they were too heavy to really perform. If they make them a little lighter with a serious upgrade in power, these could be pretty cool.

THIS IS HILARIOUS! just last week me and my friends were bagging on each other about the cars we like (they like mustangs and me of course the camaro) and i said to them "mustangs,camaros..it don't matter! the delorean would beat their ass and it will be back you mark my words". lol!! I was totally just joking when i said that! hmmm...i must have a gift?? ....I WANT A MILLION DOLLARS! we'll see if i get it next week ; )

I'm a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE DeLorean fan! I think that reviving that car is a great idea, just wish Mr. John Z. himself was here to do it.
