Is there a way to turn that off? It just adds clutter.

Thats funny. I JUST now saw that icon, so I came here to see what it was..

Im sure theres a way to turn it off..

It looks like it's a new feature that pops up to notify you when a thread you're commenting in frequently has new updates. Like a border line IM.

Apparently while you're scrolling through posts, a little thing will pop up in the corner and tell you a new post was added while you were doing so.

I think it's to let you know there is current activity in a thread.

If you click new posts you kinda get the same thing.

Yep, but if you use the "New Posts" link like I do, it is pretty much redundant and just clutters up the page.

yeah I was sitting there reading the last post in the Lounge earlier when another post just came up out of nowhere...... I thought it was the meds doing it..... guess not
