Texas Mile Crash

A Z06 Corvette crashed at the Texas mile going around 230mph! The Z06 is fast enough stock, but the performance shop through on a TT kit. Amazingly, the driver walked away from the crash.

Lucky dude. That could've easily killed him. He's super lucky it landed on its tires. Wow.

Physics saved the driver. Called Delta-v, a gradual change in velocity made this survivable.

Pure luck to have survived that. There is more pics out there of that car before and after. It didn't even have a roll cage, just a 4 pt roll bar/harness bar. One of the tumbles completely ripped the windshield and W/S header out of the car. At those speeds normally they require a lot more safety equip than that car had.

Wow, that is one lucky SOB!

Anyone else notice how the dude with the camera just stands there checking to see of he got the shot instead of running to check on the driver? Classy.
