GM Reveals Holden VE Series II Commodores

It's Official: Holden VE Series II
Holden refreshes its lineup of rear wheel drive vehicles.

After numerous rumors and spy photography Holden has officially announced the revised VE lineup for 2011. Aside from a revised design inside and out, the new Holden's are also gaining flex-fuel (E85) capability.

Perhaps the most notable difference is a new 6.5" LCD in the revised interior. Holden has dubbed the system "Holden-iQ." Holden iQ features Bluetooth connectivity, auxiliary and USB ports so that Holden customers can stay connected with all of their consumer electronics. The iQ system is on all Commodores.

Holden has also added E85 capability to VE cars equipped with the 3.0-liter SIDI V6 or 6.0-liter V8. E85 capability will be added to the 3.6-liter V6 later in 2012.

I like the interior. The exterior seems very 2000ish to me, other than the headlights. I like that red SSV, but other than that, it just seems. . . under-styled I guess.

Damnit GM!

Guh.. now I gotta wait for a G8 to come off lease to enjoy a Zeta Commodore (someone already did the conversion in the local area and my god is it win..).

The "chin" looks somewhat familiar. Like the two-tone interior.

Try driving like that. My buddy has a skyline gtst that we swapped an rb26 into and rebuilt from the ground up. Every time I tried to shift I had to take a pause and think, "wait, where does this go now?" It's like trying to write with the wrong hand at first, but you quickly get used to it.

They seriously need to bring the Commodore to the states as a rebadged Chevy. Call it a Chevelle or something, IDC just bring it here!!

Last holiday trip to US I had, noticed GM & other new car designs are boring, front wheel drive trash.

(only decent new US cars, are Camaro,Corvette, Mustang,Challenger & pick up trucks)

Bring on the Rear wheel drive cars that at least have some sort of decent design.
I think GMH-Holden has designed cars that rival US new production cars.

and bland. They look like Volvo and Sentra SE-R mashups!!! im sure mechanically theyre awesome cars tho....
