Some "Soft Side" Help please.

I will get to the point.

The deal is Me and my girlfriend have been going out for 2 years and we love each other alot, we are both 17, and valentines day is coming up and She has "something" up her sleeve for it, she has told her friends and mom and they made a face similar to what i would make if i got a 2010 camaro SS, And i don't want to get something lame i want to beat what ever she has in mind, I got somthing in mind but its just too normal, I guess the teddy bear that is up to my hip is pretty cool..

I know its the thought that counts, But i want a good thought

I think you older guys have gone though this and came up with some great ideas.

I asked around already but the guys were immature and gave me a respond with 3 letters -_-

Its just that we have been together for a while and the normal roses and chocolate things has to upgrade, And i know she though the same way too.

You guys have any ideas?

Its not a big deal for me, I could careless if i wanted to but i just don't have that way of thinking for things that are important to me and im not stupid enough to ask what they want, lol.

Like i said i got somthing in mind but I want to see some ideas you guys have so i can improve what i have in mind.

Getting this done doesn't depend on getting answers here, but i can make better with the ideas of wisdom you guys have,

Making things better can't possably be worse.

(and please don't concentrate on the quote i said above)

Honestly? Make her a card...with crayons even if you want, but spend some time on it and do a good job with it. She really planned something cool sounds like, don't steal her thunder by out-doing her, just make a big deal out of whatever she does and let her know it means alot, whatever it is.

on my year anniversary i did somethin that she loved-

i went some store that sold stuff that you can make things with-
i boughta snall wooden chest(somethin like a treasure chest) then i bought some things to put around it (like hearts scrolls any sorta lovey romantic time shit that you can glue to it

then i bought these foam hearts small but big enough to right one word on it

i went home guled up the stuff on it
then i wrote out 150 reasons of why i love her( but in one word)
like
your beautiful
your sweet
etc etc
she loved it and she still has it at the foot of her bed on her nitetable!

Hey i never thought of it that way, But who said mine can't be just as good, Im not trying to go to the limit Tho it sounded as if i wanted to beat her hahaha thats not what i had in mind its just that girls dig this holiday becuase its an emotional thing and for her to do somthing that sounds amazing knowing that i don't care much for this holiday becuase im a guy means alot to me also.

And Girls sort of brag about what they got that day and stuff, and don't want her to get a "oh thats all you got" answer that wouldn't make me or her happy even tho i was making her idea look great in the act.

The thing is im just searching for an upgrade of the normal things.

I give my mom roses and chocolates for her birthday, maybe thats why im thnking this way of upgrading.

but great idea Mistercamaro

I'm with jeffny, Last year, I got my fiancee some flowers like I normally do, but delivered them to her work. That won MAJOR brownie points.

If you have it, get her name ingraved onto something that she'll have for ever.

I got my girlfriend a big card....Its like..9'' by 12''...I'll get a pic tomorrow.

Anything that is custom made with both of your names on it. Works like a charm everytime For christmas I gave my wife a pic. frame that had our names engraved in it, and it was perfect. I escaped christmas for my wife spending less than 50 dollars

Look. You can't overthink these things. If you try to one up her or yourself from a previous occasion you'll never keep up. Get her a card and write in it. Something simple and small and then take her to dinner. If you guys are meant to be then you will be. If she's high maintenance now you should back off, if she isn't, well you certainly don't want her to be. That's not to say she would or could be but if you pamper to much early you may regret it.

If she ever asks why you love her you say "because you love me".
If she gets upset at a card that you write in and dinner then get rid of her. You don't need that. You'll have plenty of time to do some really cool things for her down the road.
