Been a Sad Day Here in Moscow

Looks like the final count is going to be over 30 dead and 170 seriously wounded in the Domodedevo airport bombing today. And I can't count the number of times that I've stood in the exact place that the bomb went off! This world is just out of control man!

Very sorry to hear about this and I will keep the families in my thoughts and prayers.. Hopefully they will catch whoever did this.

They think it was a suicide bomber, and that they found his head. I guess the way they make those vests, the head severs and shoots off on it's own. They have some surveillance video too. Word is that there are suspects but they haven't said who they are.

I'm sure now that this has happened, there will be screenings to even get into the airport. Life just keeps getting more dangerous and filled with more hassles. Welcome to the 21st century!

had not heard about this.i am going to turn the news on now.it makes me so mad to hear things like this.some idiot blowing them selves up and taking innocent people with them.i just don't understand the insanity.

Hey Lost In Moscow. I saw the news today and it is sad. Also a little unnerving as well as I travel to Moscow everyyear on business. I just got my new multientry visa good for 12 months. Now we have to worry about this nonsense going on.

Hey sounds good to me. I usually stay at the Crown Plaza ( the old Mezdurodia Hotel ). I will be there for sure at the last half of June. Look forward to meeting you then. Don't know how long you have been there, but I have been coming over everyear since 1984. We can swap some good storys about NITEFLITE if you know what I mean.

Sad news.

I just watched CNN for 45 minutes to get an update on this... appears to have been downgraded to the scrolling news on the bottom of the screen..

Sad. If it happened on American soil it would be 24/7 news for 2 weeks but instead I have to resort to the internet to find out any info...
